Tuition is due on the first of the month for the upcoming scheduled lessons. Payments can be made via Paypal or bank transfer.
I generally recommend 45 minute lessons for most students. Younger children and beginners can benefit from starting out with 30 minute time slots and more advanced players can usually easily fill 60 minutes. I do not offer 60 minute time slots for beginners or young students.
My fees are set for students who have committed to a weekly time slot. This means that I have reserved your lesson time for you exclusively. You can find further information about makeup lessons and absences in my studio policy.

Tuition is due on the first of the month for the upcoming lessons.

A late fee of €10 will be added on the 8th of the month.

Consistency is of utmost importance to me therefor I require 48 hours notice for a lesson cancellation in order to be granted a makeup.

Each student is allowed 6 makeup lessons a year.

Makeup credits are valid for 90 days.

Student books and materials are not included in the tuition. Students will periodically be asked to purchase music and supplies---the teacher will provide specific information on items needed and how and where to easily purchase them.

A student can be dismissed if any of the circumstances occur: unpaid tuition, an excessive number of absences or an uncooperative attitude.

There should be a definite practice routine every day. We can come up with reasonable goals and practice expectations together. This will vary student to student. My goal is for the piano to remain as fun and stress-free as possible while still building confidence and growth.
Music is my art and my career; I hope that by creating this policy we can all understand what my expectations are so that I can create an enriching musical experience for my students and their families.
